Description of the retreat:

This retreat leads participants from the question “What are you looking for?” toward mature prayer: it teaches them to move beyond the role of observer, to open their hearts, and to find the courage to enter actively into relationship with Jesus. In the Tent of Meeting and in sharing the Word, we learn to speak to God face to face and to build community through witness. By discovering “Our Father” as seven petitions, we become more at ease with dependence and learn how to ask. The finale is praise, which integrates thanksgiving, petition, and asking forgiveness into a coherent way of life.
