Description of the retreat:

The diaconia discerned that retreats about discerning one’s life path are needed. We decided to split the topic into two stages - the retreat “What am I looking for?” and “Decision making”. Before we make decisions regarding our life we must know what we have a choice between, we must consider whether we see all possibilities and are able to find them well - otherwise our decision making will be by definition defective. This retreat concentrates around the topic of the value of seeking itself, tries to convince participants that not only the goal but the journey itself is a value. Its goal is to find the true motivations and intentions standing behind our choices. Ultimately it opens the perspective that we are people who will always be looking for something, because for now “we see in a mirror dimly” - it is therefore nothing wrong if we seek, not always also will we find.
